The Observatory for the Freedoms of Association and Peaceful Assembly (ORAA20) is article20.com’s worldwide monitoring tool. The aim is to monitor government abuses of these two fundamental freedoms.
ORAA20 is a permanent instrument for alerting against the non-respect of the freedoms of association and peaceful assembly in the world.
It monitors respect for the freedom of groups, collectives or groups of individuals to associate and unite to defend a cause, promote an action or share a passion.
ORAA20’s mission is to draw up periodic and instantaneous reports on abuses committed by States under article 20 of the UDHR.
ORAA20 is also a tool for alerting, organizing and advocating for freedom of association and peaceful assembly around the world.
