Article 52
Citizens have the right, individually or collectively, to petition, to denounce irregularities and to formulate constructive criticism to the powers of the State or to any authority, to obtain a rapid resolution or response and to have the result communicated within the time limit fixed by law.
Article 53
The right of peaceful assembly shall be recognised; the exercise of this right shall not require prior authorisation.
Article 54
The right of public assembly, demonstration and mobilization in accordance with the law is recognised.

Article 1 – The purpose of this law is to regulate the constitution, authorisation, operation and termination of non-profit civil and religious associations which exist in the country and those which in the future will be organized in accordance with the exercise of the right of association enshrined in the Statute of the Rights and Guarantees of Nicaraguans. This law is of public order.
Article 2 – Any non-profit-making civil or religious association, whose principles and objectives are in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Nicaragua, regardless of the name and organic structure it adopts, will enjoy legal personality once it meets the requirements established…
