Fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual

3. Whereas every person in Solomon Islands is entitled to the fundamental rights and

freedoms of the individual, that is to say, the right, whatever his race, place of origin,

political opinions, colour, creed or sex, but subject to respect for the rights and freedoms

of others and for the public interest, to each and all of the following, namely:-

(a) life, liberty, security of the person and the protection of the law;

(b) freedom of conscience of expression and of assembly and association;

13.-(1) Except with his own consent, no person shall be hindered in the enjoyment of his

freedom of assembly and association, that is to say, his right to assemble freely and

associate with other persons and in particular to form or belong to political parties or to

form or belong to trade unions or other associations for the protection of his interests.

(2) Nothing contained in or done under the authority of any law shall be held to be

inconsistent with or in contravention of this section to the extent that the law in question

makes provision –

Le Registre des Entreprises est une Division au sein du Ministère du Commerce, des Industries, du Travail et de l’Immigration (MCILI). La Division est chargée d’enregistrer toutes les entreprises, sociétés, transactions garanties et organisations caritatives opérant à l’intérieur des frontières des Îles Salomon au nom du gouvernement des Îles Salomon. Le registre à cet effet est hébergé par le registraire des sociétés qui dirige la division.

Ce registre du commerce est désormais un registre électronique accessible 24 heures sur 24 et 7 jours sur 7. Outre les informations sur les noms de sociétés et d’entreprises, le registre héberge également des informations sur les investisseurs étrangers et permet aux visiteurs d’effectuer une recherche de noms, de propriétaires, d’administrateurs et d’actionnaires.
